All the hoops are UK made by a professional drum maker, they are laminated in Maple or Birch ply and have added support rings top and bottom.
These also have a machined bearing edge to them that
helps create a wide range of tones from the drum.

Being laminated hoops they are very much lighter than the stave style ones so much easier to transport etc.
The hoops are veneered in either Oak or Ash
Skins are Red deer
Each drum comes with a set of beaters
Stands are additional and need to be ordered via the shop
Sizes offered are 20" 22" 24" and 26" .....
These can also be 6", 8" or 12" deep

These are truly beautiful and awesome drums.
I own the ones that are in the top picture and they are both a true delight.
Both drums have a very deep bass-sound which reverberate through your body and, via the stands, deep into the ground.
If you need a drum to call for ceremony, these are definitely the sort of drums you want.
I always wanted a BIG BOOM drum and after getting the first (the smaller of the two), there was no doubt in my mnd where to get the next, bigger booming drum. Birthing her was an experience my daughters and I will not soon forget.
The love and care put into these drums is amazing and makes them really stand out.
Both drums contain a beautiful song and I love drumming either one.
Now... the only question is.... will I want an even bigger drum.... :oD
I run community groups, events and residentials and really wanted a gathering Mother Drum for the community to share. After several enquiries Phil and Lynne’s names kept coming up for drum birthing due to their expertise and craftsmanship. The actual drum birthing was a beautiful experience and if you are able I would recommend you take part in this process. The drum itself, well what can I say. She holds the space for our community marvellously, always having a powerful healing voice and has her own innate beauty which everyone comments upon when they see and hear her. Thank you Phil and Lynne for this beautiful tool of healing and ceremony.
Well what can I say but OMG! O LOVE IT. I have been waiting to find the right person to create my spiritual drum and being patient was well worth it. Phil has an incredible skill and you can feel the love he puts into his work. The energy from this beautifully huge drum is awesome. Not only does it have a deep voice but it has a an amazing heart too. I cannot wait to bring her into my group as it will be used for community and ceremony to bring people together as one heart. Phil is very professional in his work, great attention to detail and offering his best on all he does. I have not met Phil YET! but he treats you with respect and like a friend. On a last note, if you are looking for anything Shamanic related make him your first port of call as you won't be disappointed.
